The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition CuNiFe Telecaster Custom Journeyman Relic is an embodiment of vintage appeal, contemporary innovation, and tonal versatility. Inspired by the '60 Tele Custom, this guitar stands as a testament to Fender's rich history and unrelenting commitment to pushing the boundaries of guitar craftsmanship.

The body of the guitar is constructed from knotty pine - a tone wood selection that deviates from the norm, offering a unique tonal flavor and an excellent soundstage for the guitar's vintage-inspired electronics. Aged to perfection, the Journeyman Relic finish exudes an authentic, well-loved aesthetic, beautifully complimenting the natural amber hue of the knotty pine body.

Accompanying the body is a roasted birdseye maple neck, providing a stable and comfortable playing surface. The neck houses a AAA dark rosewood fingerboard, sorted for its aesthetic appeal. With a 9.5" radius, the fingerboard maintains a balanced tension across all strings, enabling easier chord fingering and nimble lead work. The neck measures a thinner .790" at the 1st fret and ramps up to a more substantial .930" at the 12th.

In the realm of electronics, this Telecaster does not disappoint. A hand-wound Tele Texas Special pickup occupies the bridge position, offering a robust, punchy tone with a high output that's perfect for driving an amp into sweet saturation. The neck position houses a Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker, a classic pickup revered for its full, rich sound, providing tonal balance and nuance to the guitar's overall sound.

The final touch is the guitar's hardware, meticulously relic'd to match the guitar's aged aesthetic. The tuning machines, controls, and Bigsby B5 bridge and tailpiece exhibit a charming vintage patina, reinforcing the guitar's vintage authenticity.

The Limited Edition CuNiFe Telecaster Custom, weighing in at a comfortable 8lbs 4.7oz, provides an impeccable blend of vintage and modern features, making it a worthy addition to Fender's Custom Shop lineage. It's a perfect instrument for the discerning player who appreciates Fender's historical roots but seeks the benefits of modern design and craftsmanship.

The Epson F170 has been ideal for getting started with sublimation. It's easy to use, prints vibrant and defined colors, and has allowed me to personalize various projects with excellent results. As a beginner, it has given me a lot of confidence to learn and create without complications. I definitely recommend it for anyone starting out in sublimation.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet. The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??) The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me. But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop. In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.

Epson SureColor F170 Sublimation Printer Rocks!
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
TI’m a newbie at sublimation, and this is my first sublimation printer. I love it! I can’t wait to make more things! I like that it’s not too large, but still can print up to 8.5x14”. The quality seems to be really good, but I also don’t have any other printer to compare it to. This was my very first project! I’m very happy with it so far!
