The ALLEVYN Silver Foam Dressing adhesive is particularly comfortable to wear due to its soft and supple properties. The hypoallergenic adhesive surface offers optimal hold - even after hard-to-reach areas of the body. In addition, the ALLEVYN Foam Dressing has a waterproof outer film that makes it possible to wear the dressing even while showering. This protects the wound from new bacteria from the outside.
The silver contained in the foam dressing effectively promotes wound healing and even creates a barrier against the antibiotic-resistant MRSA bacteria. The antimicrobial effect remains for up to seven days, so that ALLEVYN foam dressings can be used economically.
