The Total Care Tilt-in-Space Shower/Commode Chair is an affordable tilting shower chair that is specifically designed for individuals prone to involuntary forward or sideways movements during showering or toileting.
The gentle reclined positioning helps users feel safe and secure and eliminates the danger of falling forward or sideways out of the chair. This feature-packed, multi-function chair can be used for bathing, as a bedside commode and for patient transport.
For more dependent users, the Total Care chair can be wheeled directly over a toilet. Swing away footrests and fold-able armrests make transfers to and from the chair quick, easy and safe.
The padded seat is comfortable, soft and warm to the touch- allowing users to remain in the for the entire bath/toileting cycle without discomfort. The seat base features a removable commode insert that can be added and removed as required.
The chair is equipped with double gas struts to assist the operator in making the tilting adjustments easy to perform. This institutional-quality chair provides high-level functionality for all types of conditions.
The Total Care chair is wide enough to accommodate users up to 330 lbs. yet still features has a small enough footprint for use in areas with minimal space.
