- Provides a ‘cool’ calorie source to the diet and is the ideal feed supplement for horses that get ‘hot’ on grain-based feeds.
- Has a similar energy contribution per kg to oats, therefore making it the ideal substitute for performance horses that require an overall reduction of starch in their diets but still have high energy demands.
- Suitable for horses prone to ‘tying-up’ when a portion of grain can be removed from the diet and replaced with Dunstan Betabeet Flakes.
