Hip-Hopulation is a new book by Nick Donnelly, a former music video director who has directed music videos with Method Man, Ruff Ryders, and interviewed Hip-Hop artists such as Ghostface Killah, Freddie Gibbs, Immortal Technique, Talib Kweli and many more,

Set across 20 hours of personal conversations during the 50th year of Hip-Hop, Nick talks uncensored and exclusively to 15 of the most inspiring Hip-Hop artists across every living continent in the world, artists who have had over a billion streams on their music.

In Hip-Hopulation read exclusively from:

  • BK, a Hip-Hop artist from the notorious 'City of God' slums in Brazil who has had his music videos watched more times than the population of Brazil.
  • Prabh Deep, who produced a record in New Delhi, India in a room with no windows and with very little money, to then get to number 1 on the ITunes chart.
  • Ez Mil, from The Philippines who signed to, and collaborated with, Eminem on his record 'The Realest' and 'Head Honcho', the latter taken from Eminem's latest album 'The Death of Slim Shady'
  • R-Mean in Los Angeles whose latest independent album is produced entirely by super producer Scott Storch and features Nas, Method Man and more.
  • Lioness, a rapper and a doctor in Namibia.
  • Frenkie, who escaped the Bosnian War as a child to return to Bosnia and helped bring Hip-Hop to the decaying buildings, restoring hope to the people in the community.
  • Kobie Dee, an Aboriginal Hip-Hop artist in Australia
  • Jords, the first UK rapper to sign to Motown Records, being interviewed at an anti-knife crime charity in South London
  • And more celebrated artists from Italy, Sweden, New York City, London, Manchester and Amsterdam.

Hip-Hopulation is the first book in the history of Hip-Hop to unite the global artists around the world. The book is filled with stories of hope, struggle and passion from artists who lead change in their community, while being told throughout by an independent artist sharing his own stories of rising from living in race riots in a small working class town to shooting no budget music videos with immigrants on estates to standing on stage with Wu-Tang Clan and making a music video for a record that Jay-Z sampled on the title track to his last album.

Whether you are a fan of the culture, or you want to discover new stories of courage and hope around the world, Hip-Hopulation invites you to a world of change.

Great for Indy Comic and Zine Covers
Size: 11"X17"
I use both the 11x17 and 8.5x11 Koala Glossy Inkjet papers as cover stock for Night Phoenix Press mini comics and zines, most often as Kickstarter add-ons or promo items. For that role, they deliver. The gloss finish immediately gives even short-run projects a polished, professional look with the other side having a matte finish which I can flip over for sketch covers using the matte side for the exterior cover. Colors print vibrant, blacks are strong, and the surface takes ink evenly without streaking. The finish looks clean enough to pass for offset printing on both inkjet and laser printers. This paper is also great for comic covers because it can fold down the middle without splitting the gloss coating too much if at all. The 8.5x11.5 works just as well for minis, one-shot zines or inserts. Between the two sizes, I can cover nearly every indie project format I need. They have just enough weight to feel like a true cover while still running smoothly through an inkjet printer. These books are often handled by backers or used as handouts, so durability matters. The stock holds up, though glossy paper can pick up fingerprints or light scuffs if stacked loosely. Bagging finished copies or boxing them quickly solves that. For the cost, it’s a dependable option that makes Kickstarter rewards and promo zines look far more professional than plain paper covers. For creators producing indie comics, add-ons, or zines on a budget, this paper is one of the easiest ways to elevate presentation without driving up printing costs. -Nathyn Brendan Masters

Ausurion products protection
Asurion is a great company to insure your products whenever you purchase items from online businesses like, Amazon. I had a portable hot spot device ordering from Amazon with a 3-year protection plan, unfortunately, the device has accidentally fallen and refused to turn on, then I went on Asurion Online website and filled in a claim and waited for approval to take that device for repair, luckily, they do not haven’t repaired shop services near me, they just refunded the original item price to me by Amazon Gift cards without knowing it few days than expected. I highly recommend Asurion for your product insurance needs.
