I liked that this one had a stand, and three speed settings seemed like plenty; unfortunately, this frother is unusable even at the lowest speed for mugs that are more than 50% full, my goodness - it created a coffee vortex with walls so high it looked like a massacre within seconds. I did unfortunately put the handle in my sink and it got too wet (not submerged) and did not work and I had to order another one. So be careful not to get the handle too wet.
