A new push your luck gameplay mechanism is included with the Tunnel construction as when you decide to build a Tunnel you must turn over cards from the draw pile one at a time (3 times) and if any of the cards match the colour (or a locomotive) of the Tunnel you are trying to construct you must play another card from your hand (the same colour or a locomotive). If you are unable to play a card then the Tunnel fails and your turn ends.

Stations are a very handy addition to the game as they extend your route into or out of the station along another players line (only one route). However, for every Station you don't use by the end of the game bonus points are awarded so careful planning of when / if to use the Stations is required.

This is the perfect follow up to the original Ticket To Ride and for many people this is their favourite in the series. Great for family game nights as it is so easy to teach you can get playing in just a few minutes.
