Appearance
Deep, warm amber — the rich, inviting colour of a Bas-Armagnac aged for a minimum of 10 years in oak barrels, with the depth and luminosity that patient maturation in the cellars of Panjas delivers.
Aroma
Very rich and complex — wooded and honeyed notes lead the nose, with the aromatic depth and elegance that a minimum of 10 years in oak and the delicate, fruity character of Bas-Armagnac’s sablo-limoneux soils deliver. Candied fruit notes add sweetness and complexity throughout.
Palate
Very aromatic and with a beautiful length in the mouth — the rich, complex palate of a Bas-Armagnac crafted with minimal new oak to preserve the fruity character of the eau-de-vie, finishing on aromas of candied fruit that linger long and satisfyingly.
