The Fender John 5 Ghost Telecaster is a limited edition guitar designed in collaboration with the legendary guitarist John 5. As the guitarist for Rob Zombie, and having worked with countless other artists spanning many musical genres, John 5 has become a household name and inspiration for six-stringers far and wide. And now, this signature Tele is a perfect embodiment of his skills and style.
The top-bound alder body of the John 5 Ghost Telecaster is finished in a hauntingly stark Arctic White gloss. The overall brightness of the body is accented by blood-red appointments that include the Fender logo, synthetic bone nut, control knobs, pickups, binding, and the tuning machine's washers. A gleaming mirrored pickguard and control plate help sear this guitar's image in your memory when the light reflects off of them.
The one-piece maple neck with a Custom John 5 Medium "C" profile connects to the Tele's body with a Custom John 5 neck plate. The maple fingerboard plays as smooth as can be. Red side dots on the neck light your way up and down the board, as there are no inlays to be found on this Ghost Tele. Deluxe locking tuners and a string through tele bridge with block steel saddles keep your strings in check, taught and ready for action, fully intonated in every moment.
The John 5 Ghost Telecaster features two DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers. These pickups are poised to help deliver powerful riffs and mind-melting solos with their clear projection, high-fidelity, modern crunch. A traditional 3-position switch selects between or blends the two pickups, located on the upper bout for quick access. With no need for tone control, this guitar sports only a master volume and special Arcade-Style "Kill Switch" in the control plate. So, get your gaming fingers ready for sputtery, sporadic, signal killing action and take advantage of this unique feature.
