Dry - Cherry - Strawberry

Eric Narioo and Anna Martens, made their first wine together on Mount Etna, Sicily in 2008, and continue to do so under the banner Vino di Anna. In 2022, in order to spend more time with Anna’s family in Australia, the couple started a small wine project based in the Adelaide Hills, Nord-Sud. Renting space in a friend’s winery in Basket Range, Eric and Anna source organically-grown grapes from sites across the Adelaide Hills. The wines are made with minimal intervention and no chemicals or additives, other than minimal quantities of SO2 if necessary.

Nord-Sud Rouge is a blend of organically farmed Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a small percentage of Grenache, for added spice and complexity, and a touch of Pinot Noir to add aromatics. The result is a juicy, vibrant red with aromas of cherries and strawberries, and a dry palate with plenty of red fruit flavours, soft tannins, a good natural acidity and medium length. Chill it a little if you like!
