Vought OS2U Kingfisher airplane model. The OS2U Kingfisher was the most widely used navy float plane of World War II. They were carried aboard battleships and cruisers. Cranes were used to place them in the water and later recover them. The result was that conventional surface ships could conduct their own flight operations, independent of the aircraft carriers. The Kingfisher could perform a variety of tasks - training, scouting, bombing, tactical and utility missions such as towing aerial gunnery targets and chasing practice torpedoes. Most OS2Us operated in the Pacific Theater where Kingfisher pilots rescued many downed airmen. Some were used in the Atlantic Ocean to hunt Nazi submarines.

The Navy contracted for the prototype XOS2U-1 on March 22, 1937, and this airplane first flew in July 1938. The first production Kingfisher, the OS2U-1, was delivered early in 1940 and assigned to the battleship "USS Colorado." Fifty-four OS2U-1s soon followed. By early 1941, Vought had built 159 OS2U-2s and the Navy had stationed these airplanes at Naval Air Stations in Pensacola, Florida, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Alameda, California. Under the Lend-Lease program, the United States sent many Kingfishers to Great Britain where they served in the Royal Navy as the Kingfisher I. Other countries received Kingfishers both during and after the war including Australia, the Soviet Union, Uruguay, Chile, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Cuba.

Works Well and Good Quality
Color: Black-Stock Market-31.5"x15.8"(with Wall Charger)
The recharging feature works well for both phone and earbuds. Phone charges very fast. Great looking mousepad that has ample size for both keyboard and mouse. Mouse moves easily on the surface and is much better than using it solely on a tabletop. Great price too!

A pad that just delivers
Color: Black-31.5"x15.8"
The item came in minimalist packaging. The mat came out and was ready to use immediately. The build quality is great with no distortions in shape that I had with a lower quality gaming mouse pad I was gifted once. The wireless charging just worked, and true to word, if I place my phone just right on the spot it engaged turbo wireless charging. It felt great, smooth like a high quality mouse pad, just huge. I can fit my laptop, keyboard and mouse with room to spare. Don't regret decision to buy.

Check to see if you need an adapter
Color: Black-Phone Holder-31.5"x15.8"
Very nice pad, good size and neat looking. Charges the phone and do not need a separate charger. ONE WORD OF CAUTION. I expected to be able to hook it up and use as delivered. BUT, expecting a USB compatible wire that fits into a normal plug, I needed an adapter to be able to plug it into a plug adapter. The ad needs to be able to highlight the fact that you may need an adapter.

Mouse Pad Charger
Color: Black-27.5"x11.8"
I absolutely love the mouse pad. It fits my 17.3 inch laptop nicely and my mouse. It's great for charging my phone next to me while I work. Unfortunately, it does not work for the Air Pods. It must be for an older version. Nonetheless, it's still a great buy.
