Its unique combination of pH5 citrate buffer and particularly mild surfactants protects the skin's natural protective barrier. Thanks to the intensive replenishment, the skin is pampered and feels velvety soft. It prevents drying out even with frequent showers. Use Eucerin shower oil daily to maintain the skin's natural barrier function. For optimal care and optimal protection, use Eucerin pH5 skin protection lotion F or Eucerin pH5 skin protection cream F. Small tube, but this is an amazing moisturizer. It is quite rich feeling yet feels light when applied. I’m confused that some other reviews mentioned a strong smell. I don’t smell anything really- maybe just an extremely light & clean scent.

I love all Avène skin barrier creams, recovery lotions and i just purchased this "Hydrance" cream. Texture is nice, it's unbelievably hydrating but the scent is overwhelming. It caused me a headache. So I decided to return it. Then I thought I'll give it another try and Oh my.... For the love of God, remove that awful scent. The reason I love Avène product is because theyre unscented, except this one I guess :/

Amazing lotion for the low price.

Great everyday lotion and an excellent value for the price. The texture is light and creamy, not greasy, and it absorbs quickly. I like the scent, though scent preference is personal. Shipping was fast.
The only downside is the pump—it was difficult to open and required turning it counterclockwise, then clockwise, which was more effort than it should have been. Once it popped up, it works perfectly.
