This succulent grows as a rosette reaching a height between 30 to 60 cm. Commonly known as Red Hot Poker Aloe, the drought-tolerant plant grows well in light shade to direct sunlight in non-afternoon hours. It blooms into orange to yellow flowers during mid-winter. This plant is slow-growing and is winter dormant. How to heal the aloe vera plant is a common question. It will heal on its own but in case of a damaged leaf, remove it to make way for new growth.
