Say hello to the future of reverb, and the Strymon BigSky MX Next Generation Reverb Effect Workstation. This groundbreaking piece from Strymon redefines the boundaries of digital reverb, designed with the modern guitarist in mind. This powerhouse workstation utilizes a monstrous tri-core 800 MHz ARM processor to deliver a wide spectrum of 12 world-class reverb algorithms, including seven entirely new Strymon creations alongside reimagined versions of the original BigSky's favorites.

The BigSky MX offers a handful of unique features, including a dual reverb function that allows users to run two distinct reverb machines simultaneously. The two signals can be configured in series for cascading ambience, parallel for lush, expansive stereo effects, or split for independent processing of a different algorithm on either side. An adjustable pan control per engine allows for detailed shaping of stereo image, placing each reverb precisely where it's wanted.

The BigSky MX also breaks new ground with its convolution engine, designed to offer emulations of legendary spaces and outboard gear with support for ten-second stereo impulse responses. Strymon stocked this workstation with twenty-two preloaded impulse responses, including their custom long captures of some classic analog studio gear.

In case you're not excited enough, this monster workstation also boasts stereo(!) discrete Class-A JFET input preamps, engineered to preserve the subtle nuances and dynamic character of the source. An analog dry path offers a zero-latency processing of your dry signal, maintaining the integrity of your instrument's core tone.

For the size and capability of this unit, the BigSky MX's control set is surprisingly intuitive and comprehensive. A large, crystal-clear OLED display means all the tiny tweaks that are made can be seen clearly, and a dedicated Freeze footswitch allows locking onto ethereal pads and soundscapes with just the clock of a button. And of course, the BigSky MX features deep MIDI functionality as well as USB-C patch management and IR management capabilities.

No casebook connect
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
I ordered a new print version of the textbook to specifically receive the casebook connect code. The book also came wrapped, but when I undid the wrapping and opened the textbook, there was no code. It looks like somebody peeled the code information away as the cover has some yellowing, which I imagine is due to glue residue. I’m incredibly disappointed and now I need to purchase the code in addition to the $220 I spent on this textbook.

Readable
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
Not at all what I would consider “Very Good” condition, as the book was described. Pretty disappointed to be honest, considering I paid over $100 for this. It’s beaten up, torn, and dirty, but it’s readable.

Not as listed!
Format: Hardcover
I paid nearly 300 dollars for this book and it was not as listed. I bought this because it was listed as new, but the book arrived with a broken binding, highlighting and writing throughout the pages, and the course ecode was already used. Unfortunately, I cannot use it for my studies.

Coverage lined up nearly perfectly with my fed courts class
Format: Paperback
Almost every case we covered in class and definitely every concept is covered, and explained helpfully, in this E&E. The problems are helpful, too.

Great Federal Courts supplement
Format: Paperback
This E&E book really helped with Fed. Courts! Incorporate the public v. private law models/SOP and federalist v. nationalist paradigms which my professor used in the course. This version doesn't have some of the newer cases (TransUnion v. Ramirez). The standing section could have more info but standing is one of the easiest doctrines in fed courts. The Habeas Corpus, particularly the Teague Doctrine and AEDPA, section is excellent. The only big thing this book does not include are universal injunctions and the scope of remedies (outside of standing, anti-injunction act, and section 1983).
