Hard Plastic Classic Carry Holster

High-Pursuit Retention Solution for APX N70 Transceivers

Secure your mission-critical radio on your waist and maintain instant device accessibility during high-intensity foot pursuits.

The genuine Motorola PMLN8371A is a rugged, tactical Motorola PMLN8371A Classic Holster for APX N70 portable radios engineered to withstand the rigorous demands of public safety and law enforcement operations. Integrating the Motorola PMLN8371A into your active duty uniform configuration guarantees that your primary life-line communication asset remains firmly anchored to your waist, eliminating the danger of drops or lost equipment. This heavy-duty plastic carry frame utilizes an innovative mechanical retention system that firmly grips the radio chassis without the need for cumbersome straps. The Motorola PMLN8371A is the updated version of the Motorola PMLN8371.

Specially built for patrol officers, tactical response teams, municipal law enforcement, and critical emergency responders, the Motorola PMLN8371A addresses the common operational challenge of traditional fabric or generic leather pouches wearing thin and tearing over cycles of extreme wear. Constructed from a high-impact, rigid polymer composite, this low-profile holster shell maintains structural integrity against hard physical impacts, vehicle seat friction, and continuous outdoor elements. The strategic engineering layout permits full access to the side push-to-talk (PTT) pad, top channel knobs, and the dedicated emergency panic key, letting operators activate distress lines instantly without removing the handset from the cradle.

The holster is designed to interface natively with an independent belt clip attachment, allowing departments to customize mounting widths to match standard duty rigging. To prevent mechanical failure or structural cracking, operators should regularly check the attachment screw tension and avoid forcing non-compatible radios or unapproved high-capacity batteries into the molded shell, which could stretch or warp the precise retention nodes.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Does this classic holster bundle package come with a belt clip in the box?

No, the Motorola PMLN8371A represents the raw protective holster cradle structure only. To secure it to your waistline, you must separately buy or supply a matching companion attachment clip, such as the PMLN8507 (2.5") or PMLN8508 (3.0").

Can I insert my radio into this holster with the screen facing outward?

No, this tactical holster is purposely engineered to face the radio’s primary display screen inward toward the body. This configuration shields the glass panel from scratches and direct impact damage while maximizing acoustic pathways to the radio's integrated microphones.

Will this holster structure safely accommodate older APX or XPR series radios?

No, the Motorola PMLN8371A is geometric-stamped exclusively for the specific dimensions, control layout, and battery footprints of the APX N70 P25 smart radio platform. It will not safely snap or lock onto any alternative device chassis.

    not bad
    Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

    A Beta Worth Rooting For
    Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

    Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
    Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

    A familiar story, just with…..less.
    Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
