The metal-focused single cutaway Vintage V100VMX is part of the Limited Edition VMX Series, built as a tribute to the hugely popular Metal Axxe range. This is a guitar designed with one thing in mind… power.
Finished in a deep satin black, it has a stripped-back, aggressive look that suits it perfectly. Underneath that, you’ve got a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top and set neck construction, giving it the feel and sustain you’d expect from this style of guitar.
It’s been fully checked over and set up here and plays exactly as it should. Comfortable soft C neck, easy access up the board, and a really solid feel in the hands.
The Wilkinson WMSH open coil humbuckers deliver a full, punchy response. Roll things back and they clean up nicely, push them and they come alive with plenty of output for heavy riffs, tight chugging, and soaring leads.
Condition
This one is being sold as B-Stock due to a few cosmetic imperfections. There are some light paint flaws and small marks on the body, visible in the photos. Nothing structural at all, purely cosmetic and reflected in the price.
Frets are in great condition and playability is spot on.
