Description

Herschel’s Vulcan 6 – 12kW Infrared workshop heaters are designed to heat large spaces like workshops and warehouses. They offer considerable advantages to operators seeking alternatives to gas or convection-based heating systems:

The Vulcan provides for higher installation heights, better heat production in colder / higher altitude locations and a larger heated area. With a choice of wall or ceiling mounting, Vulcan offers a powerful heating option for industrial applications. Vulcan can be:

For switching the heaters on, use a 3-phase thyristor with zero cross. Herschel also offer specialised PLC controls where multiple heaters are installed (please contact Herschel for details).

Always refer to the installation instructions before installing.

Wiring suspension and ceiling fittings must be capable of holding 4x the heater weight.

The Vulcan 6- 12 kW infrared workshop heater is ideal for industrial units wishing to avoid using fully convection-based or gas-based blower systems.

Always refer to Herschel for an accurate assessment of your heating requirements.

Installation

The Vulcan can be installed pointing vertically downwards from heights upwards of 3.5m above the ground (refer to instructions).

The Vulcan ‘L’ models can also be wall-mounted at 3.5m or above and angled downwards between 20 – 30˚ (refer to instructions).

380 – 415V 3-phase power must be used to power the Vulcan Heaters and installation must be performed by a commercial electrician. Do not exceed 415V as this will significantly shorten the operating life of the lamps.

The Vulcan Industrial Heaters have no built-in controls. Please discuss control options with Herschel during the estimating phase of your heating project.

These are so comfortable I had to get them in Black. The adjustable straps are great. My feet are a little bit wider because of the swelling issues. So if you have very narrow feet these might be a little big. You might want to go down a half a size. But otherwise I wear a size 10 and they fit perfectly. I don't think the picture does the color justice. The black almost looks like velvet, it's very deep and rich. I wore them out today for the first time and got lots of compliments. The footbed is very comfortable with the memory foam. Lots of support. I noticed my back and ankle pain is much better wearing these. I've never owned UGG before. If these hold up really well and continue to stay comfortable, I will be purchasing other styles for fall and winter.

My new favorite summer sandal!

I am loving these shoes so far this summer! The color is so cute, perfect for a light summer palette. It's the perfect light purple that doesn't make me look pale or washed out. Slight arch support to me but I have somewhat high arches so if you are more flat footed or standard arch these will give you even better support. Really impressed with these. They are more casual but work with many different outfits from sundresses to jeans. For me, these were a great buy and I will be wearing them all summer.
