Star Wars Battlefront was a critical and commercial success with great graphics and a brilliant multi-player mode. However, the time has come for EA to craft a sequel and Battlefront 2 promises more of the intergalactic fun that fans have come to expect. With the stunning performance of Microsoft's Xbox One, Battlefront 2 is sure to be yet another great addition to the Star Wars world.
Swedish studio, DICE, is once again partnering with Electronic Arts for this edition of the series, supporting them in the creative process. Battlefront 2 includes more content for fans to enjoy as well as introducing new characters from the Star Wars saga into the games.

A common complaint of the original title was its lack of single player mode. Thankfully, DICE has listened and introduced an in-depth mode for single gamers to enjoy. This will integrate itself nicely into the time period between the new film sequels and the original trilogy - that is between the ending of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
The game's multi-player mode will take players through the entire Star Wars universe with characters, settings and the epic battles we've come to know and love all making it across the transition from film to video game.
Gamers can expect to see Star Wars icons like Darth Vader, Yoda and Kylo Ren to name but a few. DICE and EA really haven't held back in including the series' most popular characters and the game's improved graphics will again be a real selling point. Its predecessor was widely regarded as being one of the generation's most attractive-looking games and this edition promises more of the same, adding a coat of polish to what has already been achieved.

Elsewhere, to build on the already successful multi-player campaign, Battlefront 2 has added four unique classes that gamers are able to choose from: Assault, Specialist, Heavy and Officer. Each of these will be customisable and have their own distinct weapons and abilities. In an effort to maximise teamwork, Star Wars Battlefront 2 allows players the opportunity to spawn in groups of four, allowing them to re-enter the game as one united force.
Meanwhile, the blue pick-ups of the previous game have been overhauled and replaced with a system that uses points. These points are achievable in-game and can be spent on various options like an X-wing or even a powerful character from the series' universe.
