Spend an evening immersed in sound with Tessa Ann at Down Arts Centre.

This two-hour Sound Spa Experience offers a deeper exploration of sound healing through listening, awareness and direct experience, alongside a full sound bath.

This session is delivered with the intention of supporting you to become more aware of how different sounds, tones and vibrations are experienced within the body, breath and mind.

Through gentle guidance, you will be invited to notice how sound shifts your awareness, while remaining in a relaxed and accessible environment.

As with all sessions, this is not about playing instruments, but about receiving and understanding sound through experience.

The evening includes a sound bath and closes with herbal teas and space for reflection.

This session invites a deeper exploration of sound while remaining fully accessible to those attending for the first time.

Each session offers a complete experience and can be attended on its own. You are welcome to join either or both.

The session takes place in the cosy studio at Down Arts Centre.

No prior experience needed.

Please bring:
A yoga mat, pillow, blanket and bottle of water.
Wear comfortable clothing.

With only 10 spaces available, this session offers a more intimate setting, allowing you to fully settle into the experience.

What happens during a Sound Spa Experience?

During the Sound Spa Experience, Tessa Ann from The Sound Healing Spa plays a range of therapeutic sound instruments, including Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, drum, and gentle percussion such as shakers and rain sticks.

These sounds are used to support relaxation and to create a calming, immersive environment. Throughout the session, Tessa also introduces how different sounds may be experienced within the body during a sound-based relaxation experience.

In a group setting, each person will have their own individual experience.

For some, the sound may be felt physically, while for others it may be experienced on an emotional or mental level.

After a Sound Spa Experience, individuals often describe a sense of being “bathed in sound”.

All that is expected of you is that you come along, get comfortable, and allow yourself to receive whatever the experience holds for you.
