Perezis a medium maturing intermediate day yellow onion hybrid.  Perez’s bulbs are firm, uniform, globe shaped and complemented with multiple attractive, tough, golden brown outer scale leaves.  In addition, the bulbs have small root plates and thin necks.  The high quality bulbs give a competitive advantage later in the marketing season.  Perezis slow to bolt (high bolting tolerance) and is suitable for production in the Free State, Northern Cape and certain areas of the Western Cape.  Perezis suitable for direct seeding as well as seedling transplants.

MATURITY: Medium, 22 to 27 weeks after direct seeding. Maturity depends on sowing date, production location and seasonal variations (photoperiod and temperature).
