The MWC 100m G10 models in stainless steel are among the highest specification G10 military watches available worldwide, boasting an impressive 10-year battery life. While this G10/98 Specification watch traces its origins back to our earliest G10 designs, the 100m model, introduced for contract purchase between 2008 and 2010, represented the most radical upgrade and enhancement since the update of our standard 50m G10 models in 2004.

Currently, MWC is the only contractor producing NATO specification infantry watches that meet a water resistance rating of 100m (330ft), compared to the standard 30m or 50m (99ft or 165ft) rating from other manufacturers. The screw-down crown and screw caseback significantly improve water resistance. Additionally, the upgrade to the Ronda 715li movement with a 10-year battery life greatly reduces maintenance requirements.

The watch features a sandblasted non-reflective case, a process historically used on many military watches but not widely employed since the 1990s. Although more costly to manufacture, sandblasting offers the best non-reflective characteristics and is vastly superior to standard brushed or satin stainless steel cases.

In 2009, when we secured a contract to produce this model, the requirements included a screw caseback, 100m water resistance, and a screw-down crown. The case was specified to be 100% covert and non-reflective, making sandblasting the best process to meet these requirements while providing a robust and durable finish. The result is that our 100m water-resistant G10 watches are unique and highly functional with a high-visibility dial.

This unbranded G10 100m variant is exceptionally rugged, designed to withstand the most extreme conditions. It is supplied with both a current issue grey NATO webbing strap and a black NATO strap. The back of the case bears various contract markings (unique to each watch) in addition to the serial number.
