This class will demonstrate making a teapot in two hours using a heat gun or plumbers torch. We will then make the spout, lid, handle and teapot body, and assemble the various components to make a finished teapot.
Participants should be able to center and throw about 2-3 lbs of clay. All supplies will be provided. Each participant can expect to have a teapot at the end of class. If you are not a member at Café au Clay, we will fire and glaze your teapot white or you can pick it up after the bisque firing.
Cancellations and Changes:
We understand that plans sometimes change. While we’re unable to offer refunds or credits for missed classes or workshops, we’ll always do our best to make the process clear and simple.
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the start date are eligible for a refund minus a $30 administration fee.
If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend — just let us know who will be joining us in your place.
Any changes to a scheduled class, workshop, or event are subject to a $30 administration fee.
