Chitrakasavam benefits:
It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of
Shwitra – leucoderma
Kushta – skin diseases and anemia
Indicated in piles and dropsy, increases digestion.
Chitrakasav dose:
5 – 10 ml. one or two times a day, usually advised after food.
If needed, it can be mixed with equal quantity of water.
It can be administered for a period of 4 – 6 weeks.
Pathya:Strict pathya rules are essential.
Chitrakasavam side effects and precautions:
Over-dosage is best avoided.
Store in a cool dry place.
It is best avoided in pregnancy and lactation.
Pregnant, lactating mothers and children should seek medical advice before taking this medicine.
