This Martin Custom Shop OM Auditorium Body is an absolutely stunning 18-style wonder, assembled by the Folks at Martin Custom Shop with specs hand selected by Russo Music and is a testament to the detail and precision offered by Martin's skilled guitar builders. The design of this guitar is inspired by the Modern Deluxe line of instruments but upgraded with Custom Shop only materials.
The Sitka Spruce top of this guitar, treated with the VTS (Vintage Tone System), pays homage to the company's rich heritage, and is braced with spruce that allows the top to resonate freely and project with clarity with Golden Era thickness. The back and sides, made from sinker mahogany recovered from being submerged underwater, makes for a unique, slightly older sounding voicing in this guitar's resonance that makes it one of a kind.
The mahogany neck, graced with select abalone, Old 18 Style inlays, is carved in the Vintage Deluxe profile with a High Performance Taper for a comfortable, smooth fretting hand experience, all topped with a 16'' fingerboard radius. Gold standard frets add a touch of opulence.
The finish of this OM is also a work of art, with a body that gleams with gloss, while its neck boasts a satin touch and a polished headplate.
