Why motorised zoom matters
Most consumer CCTV kits use fixed lens cameras with one permanent angle. Once installed, if the field of view needs adjusting, you are pulling ladders out. The IQK02DMB's 5x optical zoom (2.7 to 13.5mm) lets you adjust each camera's field of view remotely from the IQCCTV mobile app or NVR interface. Pull wide to 103 degrees for full area coverage, or zoom tight to 29 degrees for number plate capture and facial detail. Full 4K resolution is preserved at every zoom level with no digital cropping and no quality loss.
Smart AI that actually reduces false alerts
Traditional motion detection triggers on any pixel change. Every passing car, falling leaf or stray cat generates an alert. This kit's Smart AI classifies what it sees before triggering, distinguishing humans and vehicles from environmental movement. Six detection modes let installers configure the system for the specific use case rather than relying on generic motion sensing:
- Intrusion Detection up to 4 zones, 1 to 10 second trigger sensitivity, human and vehicle classification
- Line Crossing Detection 4 virtual tripwires with directional detection (in, out or both ways)
- Loitering Detection 4 zones, 1 to 10 minute threshold, ideal for entrances and restricted areas
- People Gathering density monitoring with adjustable thresholds, useful for retail and hospitality
- Region Entrance and Exit directional zone monitoring with person and vehicle classification
- Motion Detection standard pixel change detection with human filtering
Professional grade hardware throughout
Every camera in this kit uses a Sony® Starvis™ image sensor, delivering clean low light imagery down to 0.005 Lux. Dual light night vision combines up to 60m of infrared illumination with up to 30m of warm white LED for full colour night recording. Active deterrent mode triggers flashing white lights when AI analytics detect an intrusion. Metal housings rated IP67 for permanent outdoor installation from minus 20°C to plus 60°C.
Who this kit suits
Suitable for domestic properties, small retail premises, offices, warehouses, workshops, forecourts, and commercial yards. Particularly well suited to installations where the required field of view may change over time, where multiple areas need different zoom levels from similar camera positions, or where number plate and facial detail is needed at range.
