Complete Sienna Sunburst Nitrocellulose Finishing Kit
This kit contains everything required to apply a traditional 3-colour sunburst nitrocellulose finish to a guitar or bass body, using compatible products in the correct sequence. It’s designed to remove the guesswork from selecting individual aerosols and to ensure consistent results from surface preparation through to final clear coat.
All products in the kit are nitrocellulose-based and formulated to work together.
What’s included
- 1 x Nitrocellulose sanding sealer – for sealing the wood and providing a stable base
- 1 x Vintage Amber nitrocellulose colour – for warming the centre and transition areas
- 1 x Transparent red nitrocellulose colour – for the mid-band of the sunburst
- 1 x Clear gloss Nitrocellulose – for protection and final finish
These colours allow a traditional Sienna sunburst to be built up gradually, with the centre, transition, and edge colours applied separately before clear coating.

Technical notes
- All aerosols are nitrocellulose-based

- Products should be applied in the recommended order: sanding sealer → colour stages → clear gloss
- Adequate drying and curing times should be observed between coats
