With a body cut to a Strat shape from poplar, the sonic heart of this Stratocaster lies in its Fender-Designed alnico pickups, engineered to deliver a rich, dynamic sound that pays homage to the legendary tones of the past when combined with its body's wood. While honoring its past, this Strat also offers a modern, innovative pickup configuration: A Fender-designed Alnico humbucker in its bridge, and two single coils in the middle and neck positions, all simply controlled by a 5-way switching blade.
The bolt-on maple neck, with its slim "C" shape profile, offers unparalleled playability, while the 9.5" radius Indian Laurel fingerboard features 21 Narrow Tall frets and Pearloid dot inlays, and a vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge also invites players to use expressive string bends and vibrato.
