Six Questions Your The Halal Guys Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using our own research into high-throughput Mediterranean concepts. Key assumptions, including the $1.77M Year 1 revenue and $603,000 EBITDA, are pre-populated with researched data and remain fully editable. This tool is essential for assessing profitability of a fast casual restaurant unit while managing the $1.03M initial capital outlay.

ProfitabilityTimeline

The unit reaches profitability in Year 1, generating a projected $603,000 in EBITDA after accounting for food costs and royalties. This trajectory is defintely strong, as revenue is expected to grow from $1.7M to $3.8M by Year 5 through expanded catering and high-volume platter sales. A fast casual franchise profitability analysis shows that tight waste management is the key to protecting these margins.

Boost Unit Margins

  • Scale catering to $300k
  • Reduce food waste 0.8%
  • Optimize crew shift hours
[dynamic_pic9]

CapitalRequirements

Launching this unit in the US requires an initial investment of approximately $1,030,000 to cover the $60,000 franchise fee and extensive build-out. This guide on how to calculate startup costs for a food franchise shows that the bulk of your capital expenditure budgeting goes toward leaseholds and kitchen gear. You will also need to maintain a cash buffer to handle the $16,500 monthly rent during the ramp-up phase.

Primary Uses of Funds

  • Leasehold Improvements: $500,000
  • Kitchen Equipment: $200,000
  • Franchise Fee: $60,000
  • POS and Tech: $60,000
[dynamic_pic10]

Returnon Investment

Investors can expect an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 5.69% and a full payback of the initial investment within 3 years. When evaluating franchise investment opportunities with financial models, these metrics highlight a stable, cash-flowing asset with a 4.94% ROE. Estimating labor costs for high volume restaurant operations is critical here, as payroll for a 10-person crew impacts your long-term ROI analysis.

Key Return Metrics

  • IRR: 5.69%
  • Payback: 3 Years
  • Year 5 EBITDA: $1.8M
[dynamic_pic11]

Break-EvenAnalysis

The unit hits its monthly break-even point in April 2026, just four months after the January launch. This rapid turnaround depends on maintaining high platter sales volume to offset the $16,500 monthly rent and $1,300 property insurance costs. In a high-traffic urban corridor, throughput speed is the primary lever that determines how quickly you stop burning cash.

Accelerate Break-Even

  • Drive lunch rush volume
  • Control opening food waste
  • Maximize catering outreach
[dynamic_pic12]

CashRunway

The lowest cash point is projected at $202,000 in March 2026, requiring a disciplined approach to working capital during the first quarter. Using a restaurant franchise cash flow statement template helps you monitor the $11,500 monthly management salary load against incoming daily receipts. Still, you should keep a contingency fund ready in case the HVAC installation or signage costs exceed the $90,000 combined estimate.

Protect Cash Flow

  • Phase signage payments
  • Manage inventory levels
  • Negotiate utility deposits
[dynamic_pic13]

ScenarioSensitivity

A franchise unit financial feasibility study template shows that hitting the high-case scenario requires scaling catering revenue from $50,000 to $300,000 by Year 5. Financial projections for a new franchise location can swing wildly based on local marketing execution and your ability to capture the university demographic. Analyzing recurring revenue for restaurant locations reveals that digital loyalty programs are the best way to move from a low to a high-performance unit.

Hit High-Case Targets

  • Execute local marketing
  • Boost loyalty app signups
  • Optimize kitchen throughput

Our dog loves this toy so much we bought her a second one!
Size: Large, Size: Large
This is absolutely the best dog toy! Our girl has destroyed just about every other toy we have gotten her, but these have lasted 4 months with no sign of damage or wear (just lots of dirt!). She always has one of these in her mouth (occasionally both when she manages it). They survive tug of war, they are great for throwing, and even better for kicking. Have two is super handy for alternating which ball you kick/throw. Super glad we found them - I can't recommend them enough!

Just 1 toy!
Size: Medium
We have a big dog and a small dog. This is a perfect toy for both of them. However, my low rating comes from the seller. The ad description showed two balls for just under $15. (What a deal!). I received one ball….. and when I went to look back, it does in fact say much lower in the description “ you will receive one of these two color options” Generally, if they’re just showing you color, you have a choice in this case I did not have a choice and I find the post with two balls very deceiving! Five stars for the toy one star for the seller equals three stars

Better than the others
Size: Large
I was in search of a ball that would hold up after the brand I’d bought for years suddenly lasted less than a month. This one is almost 3 months in use. Some damage done after playing with it almost non-stop, but still going.

Aggressive chewers have met their match.
Size: 10.5 inch Rubber Flex Tread
We purchased this toy in 2022, it finally broke last night. Four years of rough play with 2 boxers who are aggressive chewers. They would tug together, gnaw on it for hours, and often leave it outside exposed to the elements, but this toy just kept going. It was by far their favorite toy, it kept them busy for hours. I just ordered a replacement. Well worth the money, perfect size. Highly recommend.

Durable, fun, and safe for my dog
Size: 10.5 inch Rubber Flex Tread
I have a 10 month old, 50 lb mutt who has the musculature of a pit bull and the muzzle of a GSD. Buttercup’s favorite past-time is shredding toys into teeny tiny bits, but sometimes those bits don’t come back out of her mouth. She can’t have tennis balls, stuffies, anything with a squeaker, silicone toys, plastic toys, rubber toys with spikes or small appendages, anything with rope, or most chews & bones. She chewed her first and only $8+ XL bully stick like a corn chip. Finding indoor enrichment is a challenge. Buttercup is extremely pleased with this tire tug thingy, it is very ergonomic for both her and me to get a handle on it, it has more movement than any other toy she can safely have, and it’s very durable. After more than a week, there’s only a little bit of tread missing, which is definitely the best-case outcome with a super chewer. I think this is a good alternative to GoNut toys because it’s solid & dense while also a little bit easier & more interesting to play with, and very unlike GoNuts, this Tonka toy is very reasonably priced. I also think this it’s a good size for almost any breed of dog—I could definitely picture a little Boston or Frenchie dangling from one end. Highly recommended!
